Death Warning Over Railway Track Selfies

It comes as footage from one day at Matlock Bath's level crossing showed eight incidents of people stopping on the line for photos. Matlock Bath sees just over 30 trains a day, but in at least one of the incidents a large crowd can be seen on the platform, possibly indicating a train is due. A Network Rail spokesman said it was unclear why that date - 30 August - had a high number of dangerous incidents, but one reason might have been because of school holidays.
