GPs 'Given Cash' For Referring Fewer Patients

GP practices are being offered financial rewards to cut the number of patients they refer to hospitals for specialist care, it has emerged. According to Pulse magazine, which published the findings, nine Clinical Commissioning Groups - or CCGs - are offering the financial rewards.
