Regulator Warns On School Uniform Costs

The competition regulator has fired a warning shot at schools and uniform suppliers, urging them to ensure best value or face the threat of enforcement action. The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) said in an open letter it was particularly concerned by exclusive uniform contracts which force people in England to pay up to £10 more per item.
