Flooded School Bus Sank 'Like The Titanic'

School children burst into tears as their school bus floated into a ditch and sank in flood water on the first day back to school. One pupil told Sky News it was "like the Titanic" and said soaking wet children started smashing the bus windows after being stranded in the water. Grace Abbott, 15, said passengers had pleaded with the driver not to try to go through the flood, which has blocked the road between Newton on Ouse and Tollerton near York since before Christmas.
