Genette Police Continue Black Charges Talks

Child serial killer Robert Black could be held responsible for the murder of a Devon schoolgirl even though he is no longer alive. Devon and Cornwall Police confirmed that in the run-up to his death it had been discussing charging him in connection with the killing of Genette Tate in 1978. A spokesperson said the force was intending to submit a file of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service next month with a decision due in April.
