Dad And Two Children Hurt In Lightning Strike

A man and his young son and daughter have been badly injured after they were hit by lightning reportedly at a school sports event in Northern Ireland. Staff at Killowen Primary provided emergency medical assistance, with the vice principal using a defibrillator on the father. Northern Ireland has been basking in sunshine for the past week, but there were warnings of heavy rain and thunderstorms for parts of the region on Tuesday.
