Cyril Smith sex abuse case closed with no further action

No action will be taken following an investigation into accusations former MP Cyril Smith abused boys at a residential school. Police said a total of 29 people had made claims against the late Rochdale Liberal MP, including sexual assault and rape, dating back to between 1960 and 1987. Smith, who died aged 82 in 2010, is alleged to have carried out the attacks at Knowl View, where he was a governor, and a number of other locations in the town. Read More http://ift.tt/2cO2qj0
