Shop Owner John Leathem Admits 'Frenzied' Paige Doherty Murder

A shop owner has pleaded guilty to the "frenzied" murder of 15-year-old schoolgirl Paige Doherty. Friends and family of the teenager gasped and stifled cries as CCTV of John Leathem carrying her body in a bin liner was shown at the High Court in Glasgow. Leathem, 32, inflicted more than 140 stab wounds and cuts on Paige, who had stopped at Delicious Deli, in Clydebank's Fleming Avenue, to buy a sandwich on her way to work.
