Brexit 'could cut funding and force universities to close'

In an interview with Sky News, Professor Hugh Brady, Vice-Chancellor of Bristol University, called on the Government to reassure EU students and academic staff they will not be used as "bargaining chips" in negotiations. Figures from UCAS, the UK's university admissions body, show a 9% fall in early applications from the rest of the EU for study in 2017.
