Children's health worse for those living in poverty

Despite the UK being one of the richest countries in the world, nearly one in five children live in poverty, according to a report. The State of Child Health report, by the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, also says that this growing gap between rich and poor is putting the health of the country's children at risk. The UK ranks 15 out of 19 Western European countries on infant mortality and has one of the highest death rates for children and young people in the region. Read More http://ift.tt/2kv8WMv
